The Importance Of Resting

I often get asked this question

Coach Lee, I'm worried that if I might lose my motivation to train again.

And it is time for us to break the ice and answer it with a little bit of eyes rolled. Hahaha.


Relax— I understand this mindset, as it often stems from the fear of failure.


However, trust in yourself that this won't recur.


Why? Because you're gradually learning to listen to your body. 

The excitement builds, and you're always eager for your next class. 


Even if you start feeling a bit low, the moment you’re back in the training ground, you’ll regain that natural high.

Attempting 7 classes in 7 days may seem optimistic, but this approach has its drawbacks. 


While doing 5 to 7 classes a week might help you shed more pounds, the mindset of 

"the more classes I do, the more weight I'll lose" 

will not be a long-term solution. For sustainable outcomes, consistency is KEY. 

To find a routine that works for you long-term, you need to maintain your enthusiasm and grit.


Finding a sustainable routine means being in your best shape for life. It involves discovering a series of workout routines and dietary patterns that you can maintain long-term. 


However, this is not going to be a walk in the park as it requires a significant amount of effort, but not necessarily spending countless hours in the gym 

to the point where it already dominates your lifestyle.


As the saying goes, 


"You can never have too much of a good thing". 


And this, my dear friend, 

is the hard truth.
